Kanti really knows how to get into complicated situations. He literally died because of it. But death can be reversed, as Sourangs demonstrate with their incredible genetic manipulation skills. And now, after being given another shot at life, he is meant to be a servile plantation worker. So he did and that's the end of the story.
Actually, no. He refused the notion of being a slave forever, away from Tish. And he had to face some complex moral dilemmas and plenty of hardships for choosing to keep his dreams alive.
Even after two great stories, Gre7g doesn't show any signs of getting sloppy in his prose. The plot and drama played in it is so very enjoyable that I couldn't stop reading this book except for the necessities of life that got in the way.
There are many interesting moments in this book. I think it won't disappoint the fans of the previous two, and as such I don't want to spoil anything. Just buy it! It's gonna be an enjoyable ride.
Although this is meant to be the last installment in The Kanti Cycle, I feel the story has plenty of potential still. I hope the author continues with this setting at some point.
